Story Group awarded internationally recognised OHSAS 18001

2nd March 2011:  Story Construction Ltd and Story Rail Ltd today announced their pride in receiving certification for OHSAS 18001 – the internationally recognised Occupational Health and Safety Management standard, administered and issued by National Quality Assurance (NQA).

David Sanderson, HSQE Divisional Director said “the whole of our company has worked very hard to achieve this very important certification. Implementing an Occupational Health and Safety Management System will protect and reduce the risks to our employees and clients alike. OHSAS 18001 is compatible with our ISO 9001 (Quality) and 14001 (Environment) certification and will help us meet our Health and Safety obligations in an effective and efficient manner.”
